Yes, the conditioning and packaging of the test is supervised by our team of laboratory technicians, pharmacists and medical doctors at Angsamerah Clinic. The test uses reagent provided by the Jakarta Capital Provincial Health Office with a specificity of 98,86% and sensitivity of 99,32%.
You should not be worried if your test result is positive (reactive), this does not necessarily mean you are infected with HIV. An additional laboratory test is needed to confirm the result.
Non-reactive test result does not also necessarily mean you are not infected with HIV, especially if you had risky contacts 4 to 6 weeks prior to testing.
If the result is reactive or you doubt the result, please contact us for conducting a confirmation test at Angsamerah Clinic at no additional cost.

Yes, we recommend you to have a free confirmation test at Angsamerah Clinic, only if your self-test result is reactive. You can contact us to schedule an appointment or come directly to the clinic during operating hours (10:00-18:00 Monday to Saturday). Blood tests will be conducted with 3 different reagents to confirm your result.
If these confirmation tests are also reactive, a doctor will guide you through the next steps in order for you to access the best treatment. Following doctor’s guidelines and with your approval, Antiretroviral treatment (ARV) can be started directly, the same day (additional administration fees may apply for the medication).
